Kent and I decided to go elephant trekking on the Bolaven Plateau. Our elephant took us over streams, through forest, by waterfalls and into minority villages. One village was especially unique. Situated by the river, the village was both simple and picturesque in the same time. Women and children - totally naked and not embarrassed - washed themselves in the river, while their husbands and fathers were fishing in the streams. Chickens, cows, ducks and pigs roamed freely, and simple stilt houses offered some basic accommodation for the people in the village. It was simple but quaint.
Our elephant was lovely...
MALIN

Hi Malin and Kent!
It looks nice and comfortable on the elephant. Good view i suppose. I hope one day I will "ride" an elephant too.
