Moreno Glacier

I was just on a tour of the Moreno Glacier.

I got some good pictures... The neat thing is that the Glacier has reach completely across the lake it melts into. When this happens half the lake cannot drain through the normal route, and ends up rising in volume. The last time this happened 1984 to 88 the Glacier cleared at once and flooded the town down river. This same town is currently in the middle of a construction boom due popularity of the glacier.

I thought it was ironic.
