Torres del Paine

My next stop is Torres del Paine. I will be flying down to El Calafate and then taking a bus to Puerto Natalis Chile the next day. From there I will hike in the Torres del Paine for 5 or 6 days. The weather will not be as good as Beaunos Aires, but hopefully it will turn around.

Buenos Aries

The flight to Buenos Aries was long and uneventful.  I flew from Edmonton to Toronto, Toronto to Sao Paulo, and then Sao Paulo to Buenos Aries.   It took about 24 hours to complete, excluding the time change.

I got off the last plane in 27 °C weather,  I almost melted.  My entire 5 day stay in Buenos Aries has been the same sunny and hot.

Buenos Aries is a gorgeous city with great food and atmosphere.  People are very nice, and are generally patient with my bad Spanish.  The best part of Buenos Aries is the cost, to sit down to a Steak Dinner it costs about $30 pesos.  That would be about $10 US.

Everything else is just as cheap or cheaper.  It´s hard to spend money here.

Hello Everyone,

I am going to try to keep a updated log of my travels so that people can track me here. I am not sure how updated it will get, but we can only hope.

I am also going to try to some photos as I go. All I have so far is one from the West Coast Trail. Hopefully I can upload photos as I go.
